Return & Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping with Wedstones. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy sets out your rights and our responsibilities regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with UK consumer law.
1. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
If you purchased online, by phone, or by mail order, you have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason.
- To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing (by email or letter) within 30 days.
- Once the return has been agreed, you must return the product to us within 7 days.
- Customers are responsible for covering the cost of return postage.
- We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned items.
2. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund, repair, or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- You must notify us within 30 days of receipt.
- If a fault develops after 30 days but within 6 months, you may still be entitled to a repair, replacement, or partial refund.
3. Eligibility
Certain orders are not eligible for returns or refunds. These include:
- Engraved items cannot be returned for refunds, credit or exchanged.
- Bespoke and custom made orders are not eligible for return, credit or exchange.
- Resized items are not eligible for return or exchange.
4. Returns Process
To return an item, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at info@wedstones.co.uk to request a return. This must be within 30 days of receiving your purchase.
- Package the item securely, in its original packaging, and include your proof of purchase.
- The Returns address will be confirmed once your return is agreed. You will then have a return window of 7 days.
- Once the package has been received, the items will still be subject to checking.
For purchases made during the Christmas period, returns must be received by 15th January.
5. Refunds
- Refunds will be processed using your original payment method.
- Standard delivery costs will be refunded if you return the entire order.
- You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item.
6. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your item, please get in touch with us to check your eligibility before returning it. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
